What other funding options are there?
If you are eligible under to receive payments from MASS, CAEATI, BetterStart, InjuryNET, Workcover QLD, TAC, Worksafe VIC (including the Physiotherapy Early Intervention Framework), WorkCover NSW and we are NDIS providers. If you are seeing the Occupational Therapist (Marianne Mobley) you can also use HCWA funding.
Do I need a referral?
Physiotherapists are primary care practitioners which means we do not require a referral if you are paying for our services yourself (a private client who may use health insurance). If you are claiming through Workcover, Veterans Affairs, InjuryNet, Medicare (Team Care Arrangement/Enhanced Primary Care Plan), Better Start or any other Third Party you will need an appropriate referral from your doctor.
How long does an appointment take?
General Private appointments are booked in every half hour (unless otherwise advised). Different funding arrangements have different fees and are booked accordingly. Children’s appointments are booked initially for 1 hour unless otherwise advised.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
You will need to bring appropriate scans (x-ray, MRI), specialist reports and any relevant referrals. It is also important that you are dressed appropriately.
What should I wear?
You should be dressed appropriately so we can access your problems. If you have a knee problem we will need to assess it. This will involve looking, touching and moving your knee. It is likely that we will also need to look and see how areas above and below the knee working. If you have a problem running we will need to watch you running; so it would be appropriate to wear your runners.
Does Private Health Insurance cover physiotherapy?
Everyone has different levels of cover with different inclusions and exclusions. You should check with your provider to see what they cover.
I am a veteran, am I covered?
You will need an appropriate referral from your doctor. Your doctor will refer you and provide a D904 referral (Gold Card Holder) and it must be relevant to your approved condition (White Card Holder).
What are the terms for cancellation of appointments?
If you are unable to attend your appointment we ask that you cancel the appointment so that others who are waiting can attend. We do have a non-attendance fee.
What are your opening hours?
Each day of the week is different because we have a family of our own. Our current opening hours are listed down the bottom of the home page. We do cater for the early risers and the late worker. Booking requests can be sent via our booking system HealthKit. Request a booking with Stuart, Naomi, Jordan, and Nadine.
