UC Physio opened our first clinic in Upper Coomera in September 2015 and our second Pimpama clinic in July 2020.  Our Upper Coomera clinic is located in the Coomera Grand Shopping district. We share the large parking facilities with Aldi, McNabs Butchers, Rapid Batteries, QuickStich and Doctors @ Coomera Central. You can reach us on level one by walking beside Rapid Batteries, turn left and either take the stairs or the lift to level 1. Our Pimpama clinic is located in the pitstop area of the Pimpama City Centre. We are located between the Laundromat and Domino’s.

Our mission is to provide physiotherapy that “has the whole family covered” for the Northern Gold Coast community. We each have our special areas of interest and our skilled administrative team will ask you questions and suggest the most appropriate therapist for your needs.

UC Physio has been designed to have a relaxed, family feel to it and we hope that it will be the first choice for everyone in the family who needs physiotherapy. From the osteoporotic grandmother, father with lower back and shoulder problems, mother with head and neck pain, to the new born with talipes (club foot) – At UC Physio we have the whole family covered.

Stuart Stevenson
Co-founder and Principal
(Senior Physiotherapist and Director of UC Physio)

Stuart has been delivering excellent physiotherapy services on the Gold Coast for over 20 years. He is a former committee member of the Gold Coast Regional Group. He is a Member of the McKenzie Institute Australia and has lectured on the McKenzie (MDT) Method at Bond University and has assisted presenting with DMA Clinical Pilates. Stuart has a strong interest many aspects of physiotherapy. In particular he loves dealing with shoulders, spines and the influence of spinal problems and hypermobility on dysautonomia. Naomi Stevenson

Naomi has more than 20 years experience working in children’s physiotherapy. She has a particular interest in neuromuscular conditions and developmental delay. Due to the complex nature of booking children please call to make a booking so we can ensure that we ask all the relevant questions.

Jordan Anderson
(Senior Physiotherapist - Team Leader Adults)

Jordan has lived on the Northern Gold Coast for more than 15 years and is passionate about strength sports. Jordan has interest in spinal conditions, strength and conditioning and all aspects of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy. From the 30th September Jordan will be available from both clinic locations. He completed his training at Griffith University on the Gold Coast and regularly attends professional development. Ethan Hanley
(Senior Physiotherapist)

Ethan has been treating in private practice since 2016 and has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal and sports related injuries. He has completed further professional development in sports injuries, muscle and tendon injuries, neck and shoulder physiotherapy and lower limb injury rehabilitation. Ethan believes educating his patients about their Injury and providing an appropriate exercise program is vital in assisting his patients to meet their rehabilitation goals. Ethan likes to establish criteria and goals for his patients to achieve to allow for transparency in what needs to be accomplished as they progress through their rehabilitation and return to their chosen sports, activities or work. Joshua Dickinson
(Senior Physiotherapist)

Josh has been a part of the team at UC since 2020. He has a special interest in sports injuries, running-related conditions and lower-limb rehabilitation. Josh enjoys helping active people get back to doing what they love — whether that’s running, gym training, weekend sport, work, or simply keeping up with life. A lifelong sports lover and AFL tragic, when he’s not in the clinic, you’ll usually find Josh watching the footy, running, or hanging out with his golden retriever, Caesar. 

Utilising a comprehensive approach grounded in evidence-based techniques, Josh employs a diverse range of modalities such as exercise programming, manual therapy, dry needling, strapping, and more. By tailoring treatment plans to each individual's unique needs, Josh aims to deliver personalized care that promotes efficient healing and enhances physical function.

Jessica Hartenthaler
(Senior Physiotherapist)

Jess is currently on maternity leave. She has a wide variety of clinical experience and will be working from our Upper Coomera clinic when she returns. She has experience in many varied musculoskeletal presentations and some neurological presentations (eg Parkinson’s Disease). She has a special interest in vertigo and balance conditions. Adam Gibbons
(Physiotherapist - Paediatrics)

Adam is a Physiotherapist originally from London, UK, where he earned his degree in Physiotherapy from Brunel University. Alongside his studies, he gained invaluable experience as a care support worker for a family with two children with disabilities, which inspired him to focus his career on paediatrics. Before moving to Australia to fulfill a lifelong dream, Adam worked as a Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist for the National Health Service (NHS) in England.

Adam has worked with children of all ages, from infancy through adolescence, and is particularly interested in helping children with neurological, genetic, and physical conditions.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys camping, trying to surf, and exploring the Gold Coast. He is always open to recommendations for new places to visit! Adam joined our team in February 2025. Due to the nature of paediatric cases please call the clinic to make appointments with Adam.

Rhiannon Reid
(Physiotherapist - Paediatrics)

Rhi is joining our team in April 2025. Rhi has spent the last few years in private practice helping people of all ages and abilities to meet their full potential, focusing on a paediatric pathway. Paediatrics allows her to use her creative background to make sessions energetic as well as effective. She thinks every session should involve laughter and that every child has something special to bring to the clinic.

Rhi has particular interest in chronic pain, developmental delay, paediatric pelvic health and incontinence, along with ASD/ADHD/neurodivergent presentations. She has a passion for how movement and holistic lifestyle choices can impact the quality of every child’s life whatever their abilities or interests.

Outside of work, Rhi enjoys keeping her pilates skills sharp at the gym and going for nature walks with her friends and their fur babies (her needy cat will not accept the outside world!). When spending time inside with that needy cat she is a voracious reader and will always accept a book recommendation!
