Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Your Appointment

To support accurate, comprehensive clinical notes, our clinicians may use an artificial intelligence program, Heidi Health, a secure medical scribe tool that transcribes the consultation in real time.

This enables your clinician to focus on you while ensuring clear documentation of your care.

Important: UC Physio does not own or operate Heidi Health. We use it under strict privacy and security controls to enhance our documentation and communication processes are timely and efficient..

What the scribe does (and doesn’t) do

• Live transcription only: The tool transcribes conversations as they happen; no audio recordings are stored.

• Clinician-controlled: Only your treating clinician and authorized staff can access the medical information captured during your visit.

• Seamless records: Notes must be approved by your clinician before being publish to your clinical records.

Privacy & security

• Australian compliance: Use is aligned with the Australian Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act.

• Enterprise safeguards: Information management practices are aligned with ISO 27001, with data encrypted in transit and at rest.

• Australian hosting: Data is stored on secure servers located within Australia.

• Minimal & transparent data use: Data collection is limited to what is necessary to deliver the service; disclosure, retention, and use are tightly controlled.

Your consent & control

Your clinician will seek your consent before using Heidi Health. You can withdraw consent at any time—your care will continue, and we will document your appointment using an alternative method, typically with the clinician typing your notes.
